Scamper

Finally, though, when the demons called me for questioning, I found they
already had a big bunch of paper on my father. Inside it was the record of his first
interview, which ran for some one hundred and fifty pages. The demons were very
weak and their voices were faint. I was surprised that I was even stronger than them.
I woundered could I beat them up if they did something horrible to me. The demons
spent an hour looking at the huge bunch of paper on my father and then asking me
questions about my village and kinsmen. I was getting impatient and bored so I
pretended I was angry and stared at them with an furious expression. They seemed
to be afraid and they didn't look up when they ask me questions. Their reaction
entertained me. They tried to trip me up so they could prove I was not my father's son, but
they did not succeed.

Finally even the demons had to admit that I was who I claimed to be. Then
they wanted to made me strip naked and took my measurements. I shouted at them that
I didn't want it. And I resisted and
punched one of them and his nose bled. The other demons wanted to catch me but
I kicked their legs easily and they all fell down with loud bangs. They got up clumsily
and rushed into the cellar of the ship. They brought out a blond-colored monkey that
was very fat. The monkey took my measurements and poked me all around, and the
demons wrote down all that information on a sheet of paper so that if I ever left their
country, no one could sneak back in my place. I didn't reject the fat monkey to take my
measurements because it was so funny and its fur made me felt itchy. I laughed out loudly
because of the itch and the demons seemed to be less frightened. They put that sheet into a new
bunch of papers, which were on me. They also added the notes of our interview to that pile.

SCL

In April, the Education Minister Michael Suen Ming-yeung

announced that he was planning to reduce the maximum size of

Form One classes from 40 to 36 over the next two years. The public

has both positive and negative thoughts towards the idea of small

class learning. I myself support small class learning.

I think coorperation

is as important as knowledge for students. Students can learn communication

and coorperation skills when they do group work or participate in class

activities. They can apply these skills in their career when they grow up. I

think knowledge can be built up at anytime even when you are old. But the

best time to learn good communication skills is in your adolescence. If there are

problems in your intercourse and no one teaches you the right way to communicate, these

problems will follow you even when you are in your career. I think small class learning

can absolutely help. In small classes, teachers can take good care of

and keep an eye on each student. But in big classes, there are too many students

and teachers are too busy to take care each one of them. In this way, small class

learning is better for the students' all rounded development.

Above is one of the factors

that makes me support small class learning.

Determining whether small class learning is good or not is not easy. What do you think?

The Five Qualities

I think Hong Kong only fosters four of the five qualities that good
inventors need. They are
imaginative, creative, sensitive to the society's needs and Break from the
old ways . At school,
students need to apply creativity in much schoolwork. For example,
in drawings, sculptures and compositions. Students will receive high marks
in their art work if their work is creative. There are animation producers in Hong
Kong. I have watched some of their animation and I think they were imaginative
and attractive. The producers of the animation I watched are Hong Kong people.
So I think Hong Kong has the potential to foster those animation producers. At
LIBS lessons, the teacher talks about news and social conditions in Hong Kong.
Students need to think what the problems the society has or the citizens are
facing. From these discussions, students will be sensitive to the society's needs.
Many anique buildings had been pulled down this few years. The government
didn't preserve them. I think this showed that the Hong Kong government
broke from the old ways because she didn't think that she must preserve history.

HISTORY

I think Hong Kong doesn't need any revolutions. Hong Kong people
do not have any strong emotion or discontent towards the government. Also,
they are contented with their lives. So the American Revolution and the
French Revolution are not needed. The Hong Kong society is becoming
more high-techniqued and it makes changes in transportation, electrical
appliances, etc. But it doesn't make as huge changes as the Industrial
Revolution in the society. I think there must be really enormous changes to
cause revolutions. Cultural Revolution is not needed too. Hong Kong may
esists some people with silly ideas but there are no powerful ways to let
them spread their ideas to the youngsters.

Five basic qualities that a good inventor might have.
1. curious
2. full of imagination
3. has a peaceful mind
4. doesn't give up easily
5. wants to contribute people
